The CTH summation transducer is used to sum three kW analog signals into one kW output.  Usually three signals (to a max of 6) are applied to the sum input, these can be mA current loop signals or three voltage signals, the output can be transmitted as a 4-20mA current loop or voltage.  A typical application is where a power summation is required from various three phase feeders, possibly at different locations within a plant, this means that one analog signal can represent the total plant kW or MW.

The CTH summation transducer is used typically with voltage, current or power sensing transmitters / transducers.  It can be configured to operate with nearly all transmitters, sensors, transducers and data loggers.

CTH kW summation module
Used to sum three kW analog signals into one kW output

The CTH summation module is used where the sum of several transducers is required.  Example:  summing several analog kW output signals from power transducers situated at different locations within a plant, the CTH summation module will provide one sum signal equal to the total kW
