Description

The CTH summation transducer is used to sum three analog signals to one summation output.  Usually three analog signals are applied to the sum inputs, these can be 4-20mA current loop signals or three voltage signals, the summation output can be a 4-20mA current loop signal or 0-100mV to 0-10V.  A typical application is where a power or current summation is required from various three phase incomers/feeders, possibly at different locations within a plant, meaning that the CTHsum adds several signals and allows one analog signal to represent the total plant consumption which could be kVA, kVAr, kW or MW.

The CTH summation transducer is used typically with voltage, current or power sensing transducers.  It can be configured to operate with most transmitters, sensors, transducers and data loggers.  Custom inputs and output are possible, making scaling straightforward.
