CRD-005 and CRD-020 Programmable Setpoint Relay Protection relay, trip relay with alarm output

The CRD-020 and CRD-005 Programmable Set-point Relays are used for protection, voltage and current threshold sensing to within 1%, control and trip applications

Setpoint Relay Features

  • CRD-020 Programmable ac current set-point relay setting for threshold levels, over and under-current operation
  • CRD-005 Programmable dc voltage and mA set-point relay setting for threshold levels, over and under-voltage alarms
  • CRD-005 internal DIP-switches allow for either 0-1mAdc or 0-10Vdc operation, and may be set for under-alarm or over-alarm relay operation
  • CRD-020 internal DIP-switch allow configuration of the ac current range to either 0-5A, 0-10A, 0-15A or 0-20A and the relay mode for under-current or over-current operation
  • Lid mounted two digit numerical push button switch calibrated as percent of full scale with a threshold range of 1-99%
  • Red LED lamp lights to indicate when the threshold level has been tripped and alarm o/p is active

Highlighted area indicates Factory Setting. The CRD-020 unit is shipped from the factory with a 0-5Amp ac input and in an over-current relay mode. The set point relay can be set to provide any one of the four current ranges and modes of operation.

* The output relay will energize when instrument power is applied and the current is above the set point threshold. It will remain in a "Fail Safe" mode until either the input current drops below the set point threshold or instrument power is removed.
