The Model MC133C is a compact single housed three phase electric power/energy calibrator. It can supply the device under test with precision one phase AC voltage and current with calibrated phase shift along with DC voltage and current. Output voltage can be set in five ranges up to 280V and output current in six ranges up to 30A.
Simulated electric power can be set independently for each phase. Frequency can be set from 15Hz to 1kHz with resolution 0.001Hz to 0.01Hz. The MC133C Calibrator is equipped with 5 1/2 digital DC meter with DC ranges of 20mA and 10V for direct calibration of various types of power transducers.
MC133C calibrator offers two types of defined distortion of its main sinusoidal output signal. The first distortion is based on adding defined amounts of harmonic or inter-harmonic spectral components up to 5kHz. The second type of distortion is based on amplitude modulation of its output sinusoidal signal by a sine or square-wave modulation over the frequency range from 0.001Hz to 50Hz. Maximum depth of modulation is 30%.
Using a supplied cable adapter the current outputs can be joined together offering single phase current to 90A AC/DC.
Accuracy of power is calculated from value of voltage, current and power factor
Active power (W): dP = square root (dU2 + dI2 + dPF2 + 0.012) [%]
Reactive power (VAr): dP = square root (dU2 + dI2 + dPF*2 + 0.012) [%]
Apparent power (VA): dP = square root (dU2 + dI2 + 0.012) [%]
