Model MC642 is programmable real-resistance decade with range from 0.1 Ω to 20 MΩ. Basic accuracy is 0.02 %, best resolution on the lowest range is 1 μΩ. Decade consists of high load resistors switched with combination of relays. Apart from resistance function, the MC642 can be also used as an RTD temperature sensor simulatior (temperature setting in degree of Celsius or Fahrenheit). Instrument can be controlled via RS232, USB, LAN or GPIB interface.

Typical Use

Resistance decade is determined for use in industry as a device for reistance-based sensor simulation, ohmmeter and multimeter testing, quality testing and so on. Decade can be ordered as 19" module for easy assembling into a 19" rack. Module height is 3HE.
